This year is certainly coming to a swift end. A lot has happened in 2007, most of which I don't care to share, but essentially it has been a good year.
I finished college (finally), got a job and now living a semi-adult life with most of the responsibilities people at my age have. I am very lazy however, so believe me when I say I delegate a lot (i.e. laundry) keeping things simple of course.
One main problem I'm coming across now isn't really a problem at all and not really worth mentioning, but since this is my blog, I will. Ever since I started making significantly more money than I did at my old job at the college paper, I find myself spending every penny I make on junk I don't really need. I guess I never really learned the value of a dollar. For months at my new job I would go out to ritzy resturants for lunch and pretty much waste 50% of my paycheck on that. Now I just wrap a lunch, nothing fancy, just a sandwich with some fruit and water. Reluctantly even though I'm saving money on my lunches, I find myself spending it else where. It's hard to hold on to money for me. I'm trying to curb my appeal to spend, believe me, but it ain't easy.
Anyway, such a thing to complain about, I should be ashamed.
All and all it's nice being out of college. I have a lot more free time on my hands, no more homework or studying to do. So I spend it watching TV shows and following political news (some of which is work related).
One show in particular I just discovered is Dexter. It's a fantastic drama with some pretty gruesome bloody scenes, everyone loves that, right?
Anyhow, I'm feeling the urge for some World of Warcraft.
