General Motors has really come a long way since they were knocked down by Japanese car manufacturers in the 80's and 90's. GM went from being top dog to an under dog and now hopefully crawling its way back up. If this photo of the interior of the new 2008 Cadillac CTS is indicative of where GM is going, then things are looking bright.
Although there are Japanese cars out there that are not only better built, but better designed inside and out, this is the best GM has done in a long time. My hope is that by the year 2010, when I'll be in the market for a new car, I'll actually take a trip to my local GM dealer and with the way things are looking, I may actually buy one.
