Went to the Grove on Fairfax this weekend with the girlfriend, saw the outline (below) in a parking space. Is it real? Maybe...

Are you one of those (losers) waiting in line for a PS3? I guess if you are, you wouldn't be reading this blog, in which case it makes you an even bigger loser.

What's the motivation? Do you think you'll sell yours at a huge profit on Ebay or perhaps you want the system all to yourself? If you do, then you're a fool and should stab yourself in the eye, multiple times. Okay, that's harsh, just give it to me instead, so I can profit.
Seriously though, if you have the time to wait in line for 2+ days, then you shouldn't be playing video games, period. You obviously don't have a job, school, girlfriend, or a life for that matter. So sad.
And to top it off, after all the time you spend waiting in line, you'll get to play, Resistance! Yay, a mundane, unoriginal first person shooter! Good for you, I'll be over here playing Gears of War, dumbass.

It's been about 4 months since I sold my old Xbox 360 on eBay and today, largely due to Gears of War, I picked up another 360 system. Gaming is just too good to pass up nowadays and not even old fateful could satisfy my urge to game.
Along with the system, I of course picked up Gears of War. It's the best shooter I've ever played and has some of the most beautiful graphics I've ever had the pleasure to gawk at. It's simply, a work of art.
Call of Duty 3 is also in my shopping list, and probably the new Splinter Cell, AND not to forget, Rainbow Six: Vegas.
Good times is a coming...

Yes, it's that time of the year. When families get together for holiday cheer, turkey abound, and video game system galore. With PS3 just around the corner, the Wii is gearing up with their humble system launch, just two days after the PS3 release.

Although I won't be buying a PS3 for myself, there's already a line forming, unlike the Wii fanboys who'll surely walk over to their local game store mid afternoonish and have no problem getting theirs - I hope.
As for the Xbox 360, Gears of War will be their huge selling point, so much so, that I'll be repurchasing a 360 in the very near future. Like tomorrow.

| Windows Vista, out soon | |
Finally, the overdue Windows Vista is just around the corner with it's official release date announced today; November 30th. Its familiar interface (OS X), is surely to be a huge upgrade for beloved Windows users, especially if you have one of those sleek 64-bit computers. I'll "buy" my copy of Windows Vista in due time, even though the screen shots of the OS left me completely unimpressed and the price-tag to boot isn't helping its cause.
Plus, what's with all the versions? There's like 6 or so, perhaps more. So make sure you make the right decision when you shell out 300 bucks for your copy.
