The wheels are finally moving forward on Nintendo Wii, with IBM already shipping out their chips (the brains) to be used in the Wii. - Source
This news makes me happy, especially after yesterday's announcement about the PS3 and their cut back on shipment from 4 million to 2 million on launch day. But just so you know, I don't plan on purchasing the PS3 for myself, and if I do, it will only be to turn around and sell it on eBay for as much as 4x the price.
The Wii just seems to be the leading console for me, since it will truly offer next-gen gaming and nostalgic characters that non of us can ever get sick of.

Wii FTW.....Sony is gonna bomb like Hiroshima.
Also just to clarify...it is not 2 million on launch day...its 2 million before the end of 2006....Sony said 500,000 on launch day....that is 100,000 for the Japs....and 400,000 between America and Canada.....seems like theres gonna be a shortage and a lot of dedicated people are gonna make some cash on e-bay.....and a lot of simpletons are gonna bend over....grab their ankles....and feel like they just raped by Mandingo.
