Pulling the BS card

Have you seen the new Apple ads bashing PCs? If not check them out on their site.

I watched them and I have to say, BULLSHIT. I'm sorry phour you're going to hate this.

One of the videos refers to PCs crashing and restarting. Now, coming from a person who uses a Mac at work and a PC at home, I can tell you that Macs ALWAYS close applications for no reason and after two days of use, I'm almost always forced to restart the damn thing. My PC on the other hand has been running nonstop for at least 2 months and not once have I restarted it because of some error. And in the past 2 years of using my PC (running Windows XP) not a single application closed on me while I was working. The Mac at work is notorious for closing Indesign, Photoshop, etc. without a single warning, at best I get a pop-up afterwards that says, the program had to close due to something or other.

Anyway, check out the videos and judge for yourself.

everyone is entitled to their opinion... no matter how shitty it is ;-)

you can't compare a computer lab machine at your school or your computer work to your main computer at home. It's like comparing your car to that piece of shit you rent when you are traveling.

Who takes better care of their stuff?

Someone getting paid shite for the tedious job of maintaining all that hardware/software they could care less about? Or someone who needs to make sure their stuff works for as long as possible?

I guess I failed to mention that we have duel G5s at work with upwards to 2gigs of ram and the particular one I work on is brand new.

And one thing is for sure, Macs are the only computers with the "beach ball of death."
