Being that Honda is the car of choice for me, I have to announce every news Honda comes out with. Therefore their new car Fit, needs to be discussed.

I'm not much for small cars, in fact I hated to drive around my Corolla back in the day when I first learned to drive just because it was so small. However, now a days when gas prices and maturity have set in, perhaps smaller is better. And what better time to consider a smaller car than the new Fit by Honda.
Sure it's still so new that not even edmunds had a chance to review it, but from Honda's reputation, don't be surprised that this particular car will do a heck of a lot better than the current small car available (i.e. Chevy Aveo).
The Fit has 109 HP, compared to the Aveo with 103 HP. No big difference, of course, but from the name brand alone, the Honda Fit is the better choice.

I fell in love with Hondas way back when I was 8. A friend of the family took some of my friends and I out to watch Home Alone and we rode in his brand new 1991 Honda Accord EX. I told him that I was going to buy a car just like it when I grew up. He laughed. Years later my first car was a navy blue, 1991 Honda Accord EX.. Now I've got a 2005 Civic that I bought brand-new last year. I've noticed a trend in Honda design. There's always a design tradeoff between the Accord and the Civic. Either the Accord looks retarded, or the Civic does, but never both at the same time. Right now, the Civic looks terrible, but the Accord is hot. In a few years, I predict that the new Civic design will be refined, and the Accord will have some spanking new design that sucks. Honda makes little refinements to their cars every year, and the model right before they change the car altogether (like 2005 to 2006) is the one to get. Formula perfected.
I agree, this latest model of the Accord is awesome. Too bad I already own an Accord EX 2004, which for my needs it perfect.
I noticed Toyota is releasing a completely redesigned Camry next year, I just assume Honda will follow in step pretty soon with an all new Accord.
The Civic on the other hand always looked good to me, even the new one. The coupe version is just plain sexy, the four door not so much. But nevertheless it's still a Honda and that's a good thing.
I completely agree with you about the 2006 Civic coupe. In fact, I have a black EX 5 speed (when I bought it back in October, it was the only one like it - a 5 speed EX that wasn't white - in 3 states). It's my first Honda I've owned (aside from the Aero 80cc scooter I had back in high school), and so far I'm loving it! I may upgrade to an Accord next, but as of right now, I intend on driving this car for a long, long time.
