The only American Idol season I watched all the way through was the first one. Now that season 5 started, I think it'll be the next season I watch. I guess you could say I like watching other people's misery, or embarrassment.
I can't really judge a person's singing too well, unless it's the people who can't sing at all, so I couldn't care less about good singers. I watch the show for the bad singers. I only wonder why their friends and family don't save them from the embarrassment.
The funniest moment last night was when some dumb blonde came on the show, she was all hookered up with her mom thinking she'd go to Hollywood. Her mother looked just like her and smiled through the entire rejection process.
What the hell is wrong with these people? Why put yourself on national television and show America what a moron you are. Agh, whatever. The show wouldn't be as good without them I guess.

Man, I can't believe that I missed 2 episodes of auditions already! That's the only part I've watched since the first season.
